In the past few seasons, the keys to a game for the LSU Football team we're simple on offense as Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers, and Brian Thomas handled everything. Now as LSU shifts into a new offensive era, the Tigers dominance on offense starts with the guys in the trenches. We'll have to see how the LSU offense looks in the season opener before we feel fully confident in the group but, these are the three keys for this offense heading into Week One.

3. Involve the tight ends early and often

There has been a ton of talk this off-season about how LSU has to replace two first-round receivers with many believing this is why LSU may struggle offensively. While the Tigers break in some of these new wide receivers, things will be much easier if LSU feeds its talented trio of tight ends.

The Tigers return Mason Taylor who has been one of the best tight ends in the country the past two seasons. Coming off of somewhat of a down year where he only caught 36 passes for 348 yards and a touchdown, Taylor is ready to explode as arguably the top target in the passing attack.

Taylor was always going to be one of the key pieces of LSU's Gameplan but, this summer in camp it was LSU's two other tight ends that have drawn excitement. Sophomore Ka'Morreun Pimpton has looked like a matchup nightmare and he'll be difficult to guard regardless of who USC assigns to him.

Then there's true freshman five-star tight end Trey'Dez Green who has played his way into playing time. The true freshman has a case as the best athlete on LSU's roster and if the Tigers get him on the field with Taylor and Pimpton it'll be really tough for the Trojans to guard all three.
