The end of the draft saw LSU Fans rooting for Noah Cain, Charles Turner III, and Andre Sam as the three LSU players who weren't drafted yet. The beneficial part for these three players is that sometimes at the end of the draft, it's better to go undrafted as you can pick the team that gives you the best chance to make a roster. The trio ended up going undrafted however, they were quickly nabbed in free agency which makes for a positive sign for their NFL Careers.

Noah Cain - Running Back -Cincinnati Bengals

Noah Cain is headed to the Bengals where he'll join LSU Football legends Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase on one of the league's best offenses. The Cincinnati Bengals said goodbye to long-time starting running back Joe Mixon this off-season replacing him with Zack Moss.

Noah Cain will have every opportunity to earn his way onto this roster as the Bengals aren't necessarily deep at running back. Cain will compete against younger backs Chase Brown, Treyveon Henderson, and Chris Evans for a roster spot. Working in Cain's favor is the fact that the Bengals passed on drafting a running back in this year's class making him the team's only rookie running back.

Charles Turner III - Center - New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are in the midst of a rebuild after parting ways with long-time head coach Bill Belichick and trading away starting quarterback Mac Jones. The Patriots spent the third overall pick on Drake Maye signaling a rebuild towards the future. The Patriots already have a starter in David Andrews who's spent nine seasons in New England however, as Andrews continues to get older the team may look to get younger at the position.

The team didn't spend any draft capital on a center allowing Turner to build a relationship with Drake Maye in Rookie Minicamp. The versatility of Turner who's played games at both center and guard may help him make the roster as the team can certainly use help on the offensive line.

Andre Sam - Safety - Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles continued a dominant off-season with yet another incredible draft picking up talent on offense and defense. The Eagles' secondary was a major issue in 2023 costing the team games down the end of the season. The team has addressed this bringing back safety Chauncey Garnder-Johnson while drafting Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

The revamped Eagles secondary may be hard for Sam to crack as the team has invested a ton of capital into the players Sam would have to beat out. Where Sam may be able to gain an advantage and a roster spot is through special teams. If Sam can make himself a key piece for the Eagles on Special Teams he may be able to secure himself a roster spot until the time comes for him to play safety.
