Power Ranking the SEC as Texas A&M gets stunned while Georgia takes a scare
While there were some massive matchups around the country the SEC for the most part lacked the massive matchups that we'll see next weekend. We did get the massive playoff shaking game as South Carolina upset Texas A&M ending their reign at the top of the SEC in just one week. After Week 10, here is where we rank the teams in the SEC.
This season can't end soon enough for Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers as it has been an outright disaster. Today the Tigers lost to Diego Pavia for the second straight season while Hugh Freeze lost for his third straight year. This offseason, Hugh Freeze can't make the same mistake again he has to take a transfer quarterback as he can't afford another season where the offense looks this bad.
The Bulldogs finally got back into the win column after losing their last seven games beating UMass. This team had very low expectations entering the season in the first year under Jeff Lebby but they've shown no signs of quitting. If you are a Mississippi State fan you're hoping they knock off one of the SEC opponents left on the schedule but, this year the team was never going to be a bowl team.
It was another game for Mark Stoops where his offense gave the team no chance at winning this football game as even when it was close it didn't feel too realistic. The rest of the season for Kentucky should be about developing Junior quarterback Gavin Wimsatt this way the Wildcats can field a solid offense next year as the defense is always capable of competing.
In the first game after firing Seth Littrell it was likely a nice sight to see the team score 59 points. The Sooners didn't face a tough opponent as they took on Maine but, snapping a three game losing streak is a great feeling. The final three games are brutal for this team facing Missouri, Alabama, and LSU but, if the Sooners can at least win a game they'll qualify for a bowl game.
