As Vanderbilt shutdown Auburn's offense, the Commodores won their sixth game and they are now officially going bowling. It feels bizarre but, overnight Vanderbilt has turned into a solid football team. The Commodores still have to face South Carolina, LSU, and Tennessee so they could finish 6-6 but, Clark Lea will pick up a ton of momentum after this season.
While Georgia looked like they were looking ahead for next weeks game that wasn't the case for Ole Miss as they dominated the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Rebels offense looked like we all thought it would and that was without Tre Harris. Given how Ole Miss just played and how Georgia has played, Ole Miss has a great chance at knocking off Georgia at home.
This weekend certainly hurt for LSU as they were on a bye week watching both teams they lost to lost which turns the knife even more. The Tigers were on the bye this weekend which allows Garrett Dellinger and CJ Daniels time to heal up for a massive game against Alabama. The Tigers are very much still in the race for the SEC and the College Football Playoff but, they'll need to win against Alabama.
After spending the entire week relishing in their win over LSU and spending the week as the top team in the SEC, Texas A&M laid an absolute egg on Saturday night. The Aggies couldn't stop the running game of LaNorris Sellers and Rocket Sanders as the Gamecocks picked up 286 yards on the ground. These next few weeks have to be about settling on a quarterback for Texas A&M as they can't survive with a quarterback controversy.
