Power Ranking the SEC as the Bulldogs win, the Tide lose, and LSU continues to rise

Every week looks like it could be Billy Napier's last at Florida yet, he keeps making it tougher for the Gators to move on. This weekend Napier's five-star quarterback DJ Lagway didn't have his best game but, it didn't matter as his other star freshman Jadan Baugh rushed for 106 yards and five touchdowns. This stretch of the season is where things could get messy for Billy Napier as Georgia, Texas, LSU, and Ole Miss are the next four games of the season but, Napier has made it through seven games.

This weekend is disappointing for Arkansas fans because after this team knocked off Tennessee you would've hoped that they would've competed against LSU. The Razorbacks offense was stagnant which meant that they never even gave LSU a scare in this game. There are three ranked games left on Arkansas' schedule and just finishing .500 wouldn't meet the Razorbacks expectations which could lead Arkansas into a coaching search.

This week, Vanderbilt won again improving to 5-2 as they near Bowl Eligibility for the first time since 2018. The Commodores don't have an easy end to the season with games against Texas, LSU, and Tennessee left on the slate but, the Commodores have shown they can compete with any of those teams.

It looked like the Missouri Tigers were heading toward disaster on Saturday as they trailed the Auburn Tigers by 11 with their playoff hopes hanging on by a thread. Quarterback Brady Cook then returned from the Hospital to lead Missouri to a fourth-quarter comeback scoring 15 points in the fourth quarter. Winning this game was so important for Missouri and their playoff hopes and if they can keep handling business they'll climb back into the Playoff race. The reason Missouri slides for us is both the fact that some teams had more impressive wins and the fact that Missouri did struggle for most of this game.
