This weekend was one of the best for judging how every team looks in the SEC through seven weeks of play. We had top tier matchups like Texas vs Oklahoma and Ole Miss vs LSU while games like Alabama Vs South Carolina and Tennessee Vs Florida told us a ton about each respective team. As we head into Week 8, here is where we power rank each SEC Football team.

Aubbie. . 525. . . . . 2-4 (0-3). . 16

The Tigers are one of the most disappointing teams in college football at 2-4 after getting a ton of hype this offseason. The Tigers issues at quarterback have been the reason for their significant struggles and that issue won't be resolved in season. To even fight their way into a bowl game, Auburn will need to beat UL Monroe, Kentucky, Vandy, and one Top 20 team which is no easy task.

. . . 15. . Lebbywasdry. . 530. 1-5 (0-3).

The Bulldogs have been awful this season but, it's as expected as Jeff Lebby is just starting his rebuild. This past weekend, the Bulldogs put up an unexpected fight against Georgia which is an encouraging sign for the future. The area you'd like to see Lebby perform better is on the recruiting trail but, if things fall apart for Ole Miss the Bulldogs can compete for some in-state talent.

526. UFNapier. . . 3-3 (1-2). . 14. . .

This weekend Billy Napier showed exactly why he shouldn't be Florida's Head Coach settling for overtime rather than going for two and the win. The Gators now have to go the rest of the way without starting quarterback Graham Mertz who is out for the season. The Gators have three wins over Mississippi State, UCF, and Samford and it could be a while before they win again as they face Kentucky followed by Georgia, Texas, LSU, and Ole Miss.

Ketucky. . 3-3 (1-3). . 833. 13. . . .

The Wildcats lost to Vanderbilt this weekend in a game where Kentucky did everything it could to lose. The loss dropped them to 3-3 with a 1-3 record in the SEC. The fans still aren't over Mark Stoops trying to leave this offseason or his decision not to go for a late fourth down against Georgia. The rest of the season will be determined by how this offense plays as they've lost games where the defense has let up just 20 and 13 points this season.
