The Recruiting Dead Period is set to end at the start of March and upon recruiting opening back up, the LSU Tigers are set to make an all out push on the recruiting trail. The Tigers currently hold the Nation's 3rd ranked recruiting class and the top class in the SEC but, with just six commitments the Tigers will be looking to add to this class.
The biggest position of intrigue is Quarterback after LSU missed out on Bryce Underwood, the Tigers didn't sign a quarterback in the 2025 Recruiting Class. The 2026 recruiting class hasn't given LSU a clear target at quarterback but, one of the latest names to keep an eye on is Bowe Bentley. After lately receiving an offer from Joe Sloan, Bowe Bentley will take a visit to LSU this Spring on March 15th.

In On3's latest On300 Recruiting Rankings update, Bowe Bentley took a massive jump becoming the Nation's 43rd ranked recruit, the 5th ranked quarterback, and the 4th ranked player in Texas. Bentley has a 93 grade according to On3 which ties him with Jake Fette and Faizon Brandon the two quarterbacks ranked ahead of him.
During his Junior season for Celina, Bowe Bentley completed 70% of his passes for 3,330 yards and 47 touchdowns while adding another 933 yards and 16 touchdowns with his legs. A Dual Threat Quarterback is almost a requirement in the current era of College Football and Bentley fits that bill.
After Jonas Williams flipped his commitment from Oregon to USC after LSU made a strong push, the Tigers will need to look elsewhere for a Quarterback. Given that Bowe Bentley isn't committed yet, he's a target LSU can truly push for while Jake Fette is a flip candidate from Arizona State but, the Tigers will need to get him on campus this offseason for a visit.
