As College Football programs wait for Summer camp to begin, this period in the College Football calendar is heavily based on recruiting. In the coming weeks, programs around the Country will begin to host loaded groups of recruits on campus for official visits which will determine where each program finishes in the recruiting rankings.

The LSU Football team enters the Summer with the 2nd ranked recruiting class trailing only USC but, with just 9 players committed the Tigers will need to build out this recruiting class. As recruits start to take their visits, the recruiting experts will start to make their predictions on where each recruit will land this cycle.

Rivals predicts mixed results for the LSU Football team

The Recruiting Director of Rivals Adam Gorney made predictions on where several of the top uncommitted offensive linemen will land in the 2026 recruiting class, with mixed results for LSU.

The good news for LSU is that Adam Gorney joins On3 predicting that LSU will beat out South Carolina and other to land offensive lineman Darius Gray. Landing Darius Gray would add a 3rd 5-star to LSU's recruiting class while giving the Tigers yet another building block on the offensive line as the Tigers are constantly reloading the offensive line.

The most disappointing prediction to see is that Adam Gorney predicts that In-State star Lamar Brown will commit to Texas A&M. The Tigers and the Aggies have long been battling at the top for Lamar Brown and his tweets from his Official Visit to Miami make it seem as if the Hurricanes are a massive factor in this recruitment.

The good news for the LSU Football team is the fact that the Tigers will get the final Official Visit with Lamar Brown before he announces his commitment on July 10th. The Tigers have to land Lamar Brown, as he's a Top 10 recruit Nationally and the best in Louisiana, especially given the fact that the top defensive lineman in Louisiana Jahkeem Stewart landed at USC last cycle.

LSU is heavily involved in the recruitment of 5-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho, especially after hosting him on an official visit this weekend. While Oregon is still predicted to land Iheanacho, the Tigers continue to turn up the heat in this recruitment and Oregon's lead isn't as big as it once seemed.
