This week, the New York Giants found a solution to their quarterback problems for 2025 signing quarterback Russell Wilson after his bounce back season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Giants quarterback woes defined the 2024-25 season as Daniel Jones was released in season while Drew Lock, Tim Boyle, and Tommy DeVito struggled.

Despite the Quarterback struggles and an injury, Malik Nabers had an incredible rookie season catching 109 passes for 1,204 yards and 7 touchdowns finishing 5th in the league in catches and 7th in the league in yards.

Now as the New York Giants head into the NFL Draft with a quarterback doom with Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Tommy DeVito, Nabers has a more reliable group of quarterbacks throwing him the football.

On Wednesday, Russell Wilson spoke to the media where he spoke glowingly about Malik Nabers.

"freak of an athlete. This guy, when he touches the ball, he may score every single time. He's been exciting"

Wilson and Nabers have spoken this offseason and Wilson told the media that Malik Nabers is excited about the pairing.

"He's fired up, and we've had a lot of good conversations so far."

This offseason the Giants haven’t exactly had the best time finding a quarterback but, Wilson is a great signing. The Giants missed out on Matthew Stafford, seemingly Aaron Rodgers, and won’t be able to move into the first overall pick. It’s clear the team wanted a veteran quarterback to pair with their wide receiver trio and in Wilson the team now has a capable quarterback.

If the Giants still use the third overall pick on a quarterback, Wilson can help mentor the quarterback before he’s teamed up long term with Malik Nabers and the Giants younger stars. As Malik Nabers looks to continue his ascent to NFL Superstardom, the capable quarterback play this season will only help raise his ceiling.
