Matchups, Teams, and Tournament Byes

Unlike several other major power conferences, every team in the SEC makes the Conference Tournament, which makes for a more entertaining week. The tournament will start on Tuesday morning with Alabama facing Missouri, Kentucky facing Oklahoma, South Carolina facing Florida, and Texas A&M facing Mississippi State.

Texas, Arkansas, LSU, and Vanderbilt earned Top Four seeds which gives them two byes in the tournament, which means their tournament starts in the Quarterfinals. Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Tennessee all earned first round byes, meaning they'll start their Tournament runs in the second round.

Location:

The SEC Tournament brings every team to Hoover, Alabama as they fight for the SEC Tournament Championship. The games will be played in the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium which hosted the 1990 and 1996 Tournaments before becoming the permanent host in 1998.
