The Auburn Tigers saw all of the media love for Alabama and their offense and probably felt like they deserved just as much praise. Johni Broome is playing at a National Player of the Year level scoring 19.6 PPG while the Tigers have five players averaging double figures. If JP Pegues can get back to the level he was at while playing at Furman this may be the most dangerous offense in the country.
The Crimson Tide rank third in the SEC in scoring yet, it has felt like they're underwhelming offensively. The Tide's scoring is slightly down from last season but, after the Tide returned most of the roster and made some massive additions it felt like they may have an incredible offense. The Tide haven't been as sharp from three but, the return of Chris Youngblood from injury should change the Tide's fortunes.
The Missouri Tigers were picked to finish in the bottom quarter of the SEC yet, their start to the year tells us they'll far outperform expectations. The Tigers are winning with offense and they beat Kansas along the way to a 9-1 start doing so. The Tigers offense is all hands on deck with 3 players averaging 13 PPG while on any given night a new player takes over. We'll have to see Missouri against some of the tougher teams but, their offense is exciting to start the year
When John Calipari left, there was a strong chance that Kentucky could've taken a massive step back but, thus far that hasn't been the case. The Wildcats are 10-1 and they may be playing the best basketball in the Country right now. The offense is clicking on all cylinders as the Wildcats get a total team effort with six players averaging double figures which makes the Wildcats incredibly tough to beat.
