After dropping a game the Tigers should've won against Ole Miss, the LSU Basketball team headed to Fayetteville looking to beat the Razorbacks for the second time this season. Instead, a promising start proved to be fool's gold as the Tigers couldn't find any rhythm in the second half leading to the Tigers' 7th straight loss.

In the first half, it was a back and forth slugfest as both teams traded leads with a Vyctorius Miller three pointer right before the buzzer giving the Tigers the lead at halftime.

After halftime, Robert Miller III was incredible for the Tigers as the other bigs got into foul trouble keeping LSU in the game as long as he could. The issues for the Tigers started to unfold when the Tigers stopped feeding Miller as the turnovers started to rack up and no one else could find their rhythm. After scoring 35 points in the first half, LSU was only able to score 23 points which was never going to be enough.

If there's one position to place the blame on it was the play of the Tigers' guards as they couldn't get anything going all night. Cam Carter, Jordan Sears, Dji Bailey, Mike Williams, and Curtis Givens shot a combined 6 for 30 with four of the makes coming from Cam Carter combining for 17 points. Vyctorius Miller was the best of LSU's guards with 9 points on 4/5 shooting but, he only played 14 minutes.

The star of the game for LSU was Robert Miller III who's blossoming as the season progresses and will be a key piece next season. Miller led the team with 16 points off of the bench and was dominant against Zvonimir Ivisic who was blocking everyone's shots on the inside.

All about the future the rest of the way

Throughout SEC play, it has become clear that the LSU Basketball team isn't going to make the NCAA Tournament unless they go on a run that is seemingly impossible. The rest of the way for Matt McMahon and the team the priority has to be riding the younger players and building them up for the 2025-26 season. Robert Miller, Vyctorius Miller, Curtis Givens, Derek Fountain, and Corey Chest have all shown incredible flashes and if they can develop over the final stretch it would go a long way in elevating the team next season.
