The LSU Basketball team headed West to take on the 11th ranked Texas A&M Aggies in a SEC Clash. This game was one the LSU Tigers had a chance at pulling off an upset in as Texas A&M loves to make every game a dog fight while LSU's offense won't light up the scoreboard against most opponents.

As LSU was once again without Vyctorius Miller the Tigers brought Jordan Sears off the bench after it worked against Arkansas. Early on, it was a struggle to find points for both offenses as both defenses came to play. Down the stretch of the first half both teams caught fire trading leads each possession heading into the half tied at 30 all.

As LSU did everything it needed to in the first half, the second half was a house of horrors for the LSU Basketball team especially down the stretch. Six turnovers in a five-minute stretch during the final ten minutes led Texas A&M on a 10-0 run putting the Tigers back in a massive hole.

The Tigers offense had to fight for every shot attempt and when they could find open looks they struggled. The interior defense that helped the Tigers keep it close in the first half fell apart in the second half as LSU's bigs got into foul trouble.

Turnovers remain the biggest issue for this team as they turned it over 15 times which resulted in 19 points off of turnovers in this game. The hope was that this team would be efficient shooting the three pointer this season but, as LSU struggled once again shooting 25.9% from deep making just 7 of 27 attempts it continues to be an issue.

The Aggies held LSU to just 57 points, the lowest total for the Tigers thus far this season.

The Tigers are now 12-6 on the year and 1-4 in the SEC this season as SEC play has derailed a ton of the momentum that was built outside of SEC Play. The Tigers frankly don't have the pieces to beat most of the teams in the SEC especially as Jalen Reed tore his ACL and Tyrell Ward won't play this season. The schedule will do LSU no favors as the Tigers have 4th ranked Alabama and Top Seeded Auburn to close out the month.
