Superstar Trey'Dez Green exits game vs. Ole Miss with apparent knee injury

The LSU Tigers are currently trying to finish off a wild comeback as they trail Ole Miss by 3 at the start of the 4th quarter. The Tigers had about as bad of a first half as a team could have as Trinidad Chambliss looked unstoppable while the Rebels came out with a fire backed by their crowd which made it impossible for LSU to find a rhythm.

After halftime, the momentum has flipped, and LSU has come storming back to turn this game from a potential blowout to a potential statement win for Lane Kiffin. Early in the 4th quarter, it looks like LSU may have to finish off this comeback without the most dynamic weapon on offense.

Trey'Dez Green exits Ole Miss game with apparent knee injury

On 3rd and 5 to start the 4th quarter, Sam Leavitt turned to his biggest weapon and Trey'Dez Green delivered with a 19 yard gain. The issue for the Tigers is that Trey'Dez Green was hit high and low on the play, and stayed down after the tackle. The medical staff appeared to be looking at Green's knee, and he had to limp off the field with the help of the training staff.

According to the LSU Football Radio Broadcast, Trey'Dez Green is doubtful to return with a "right leg injury". After Trey'Dez Green was ruled doubtful, he was carted off the field and into the locker room.

If Trey'Dez Green is unable to return, LSU is going to have to lean on the wide receivers to step up and deliver. The Tigers have depth in the tight end room, but most provide an impact as blockers, and aren't nearly as dynamic as No. 7.

Hopefully, Green avoided a major injury, as he's irreplaceable for the offense, and he has much more at stake as a projected 1st round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Trey'Dez Green departs the game with 4 catches for 60 yards, leading the Tigers in receiving.
