Next weekend, LSU will host ESPN's College Gameday when LSU takes on Alabama on Saturday Night. Gameday returns to Baton Rouge for the first time since 2019 so getting the show back on campus for a massive weekend is incredible for LSU. We'll find out during the week who will be the Guest Picker for the show but, there are tons of solid candidates for ESPN to chose from.

Joe Burrow

Given that College Gameday is returning for the first time since the 2019 Season, who's better to have as the guest picker? The Bengals will play on Thursday Night Football which will allow Burrow the chance to come to town for the game. The 2019 matchup between LSU and Alabama was the one that locked up the Heisman for Joe Burrow so having him in town would be perfect for LSU.

Ja'Marr Chase

Given that the Bengals are playing on Thursday Night, Ja'Marr Chase is also a great candidate to be the guest picker on Gameday. When LSU last hosted Gameday Ja'Marr delivered a massive game with 7 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown. Chase also turned in a massive performance against Alabama in his final season which would perfectlu align with the game.

Paul Skenes

Fresh off of his incredible Rookie Season, Paul Skenes would be a great choice to appear on College Gameday especially as he often appeared on The Pat McAfee Show. Skenes has been around Baton Rouge a ton this offseason, so he'll likely be available to appear on College Gameday.

Livvy Dunne

There isn't a bigger star in College Sports and the NIL era than LSU Gymnast Livvy Dunne. The National Champion has been traveling the Country making appearances promoting Amazon's The Money Game and would be a great candidate to represent LSU.

Angel Reese

Another star of Amazon's The Money Game is Angel Reese as it detailed her rise while at LSU. Reese is coming off of a record setting Rookie Season in the WNBA and could further bring spotlight to Women's Sports.

Flau'Jae Johnson

One of the other current LSU Athletes that could appear on College Gameday is Women's Basketball star Flau'Jae Johnson. The Women's Basketball team kicks off their season next week which would help build hype for the season. Johnson is a superstar on and off the court with an impressive music career which makes her an awesome candidate.

Ed Orgeron

Continuing the theme of the 2019 National Championship theme, it would be awesome to see Ed Orgeron back in Baton Rouge. We don't get to see a ton of Orgeron as he's not coaching but, he's an electric personality who would be an awesome guest picker on Gameday.

Lil Wayne

Everyone expected that the New Orleans Native Lil Wayne would get to be the performer for the Super Bowl this year given his ties yet he was snubbed. Here College Gameday could show Wayne the love allowing him to be the Guest Picker.

Sam Burns

College Gameday has often had PGA Tour Golfers on the show as their guest pickers and if they go in that direction, Sam Burns is the pick. While at LSU, Burns won four Collegiate Tournaments and is currently the 18th ranked player in the world.

Kim Mulkey

When LSU appeared on College Gameday earlier this season, the Guest Picker was Dawn Staley for South Carolina. If Gameday wants to keep with the trend then the perfect pick would be LSU's Women's Basketball coach Kim Mulkey. As the College Basketball season will have kicked off we're unsure whether or not Mulkey will be willing to do it but, it would be a great platform for the program.
