Winner - Alabama Crimson Tide

The Crimson Tide entered Saturday Night in a must win spot to keep their season alive in a daunting game as they had to take on LSU in Death Valley. The Tide made it clear that they were on their A-Game from the opening drive setting the scene for the entire night as Jalen Milroe ran through LSU's defense with ease.

The Crimson Tide are now firmly in the College Football Playoff running and with games left against Mercer, Oklahoma, and Auburn the Tide have a great chance at playing in the SEC Championship Game and the College Football Playoff. When the Tide are focused and poised like they were on Saturday Night its next to impossible to beat that team and if they make the College Football Playoff they'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Loser - LSU Tigers

Saturday had the opportunity to be the perfect day for LSU as College Gameday returned to campus as did a live Tiger and 300 recruits were in attendance for visits. The result was actually a massive statement for Alabama which is program LSU is competing against for most of these recruits.

The loss sends LSU to 6-3 all but eliminating LSU from the College Football Playoff race with three games to go. Brian Kelly is in year three at LSU and it's another year where the Tigers won't compete for a National Championship. The main focus for LSU is now keeping its loaded recruiting class intact and getting playmakers on campus.
