Winner - Curt Cignetti, Kenny Dillingham, and Jon Sumrall
The Indiana Hoosiers didn't play this weekend but, they still had one of the biggest wins of the day by locking up Curt Cignetti on an eight year deal worth 64 million dollars keeping him in Indiana through 2032. Cignetti becomes the latest win as a Coach jumping to the Power Four level and he now cashes in just ten games into the season.
That brings us to the next coaches in line to get paid in a massive way whether its by their current programs or a Big Time Power Four school. Kenny Dillingham entered the season ranked as the worst Coach in the Big 12 in a tie with Deion Sanders, he now has the Sun Devils at 8-2 and looks like a great candidate to earn a bigger job.
Willie Fritz left Tulane, and they turned to Troy's Jon Sumrall to fill their head coaching vacancy. As Tulane won yesterday the Green Wave improves to 9-2 and continue to get better and better as the season goes on. As a Head Coach Sumrall is 32-6 and will be the top candidate to return to Kentucky if the Wildcats move
Loser - Missouri's slim hopes of making the College Football Playoff
After Missouri survived against Oklahoma Eli Drinkwitz declared that his team was still alive in the College Football Playoff race. As loud as Drinkwitz was about his team was about being alive was the same volume everyone was yelling that his team wasn't good. On Saturday, Missouri proved everyone right as they allowed South Carolina to win the game despite leading with 1:10 left in the game. This was supposed to be the year for Drinkwitz and Missouri but, now they'll miss the playoff and lose Luther Burden III and Brady Cook this offseason.
