The NFL Draft is winding down as the last handful of players are hearing their names called, accomplishing their dreams of making it to the NFL. The 2025 NFL Draft has been a parade of LSU talent as Will Campbell went on Day 1, Mason Taylor, Sai'Vion Jones, and Emery Jones Jr went on Day 2, and Bradyn Swinson kicked off LSU's run on day three.
The latest selection from LSU comes as the fourth and final member of LSU's offensive line is selected with Garrett Dellinger heading to the Baltimore Ravens.
Emery Jones Jr and Garrett Dellinger are reunited in Baltimore
The Baltimore Ravens using the 243rd overall pick in the 7th round gives the team another offensive lineman to build around and develop.
Garrett Dellinger was the glue of LSU's offensive line this season starting for the Tigers at left guard. This season was cut short for Garrett Dellinger as he suffered a season ending ankle injury which kept him oout the final stretch of the season. When Dellinger was injured a solid LSU offensive line took a massive step back showing how valuable Dellinger was for LSU.
At Left Guard, Garrett Dellinger helped mask a ton of his teammates mistakes playing alongside 4th overall pick Will Campbell. In Garrett Dellinger, the Baltimore Ravens are getting a high IQ offensive lineman who will have the chance to play early on given all of the experience he has. While Dellinger spent most of his career at Left Guard he does have experienece at Center and Offensive Tackle.
By selecting Garrett Dellinger the Baltimore Ravens are reuniting Dellinger with his LSU teammate Emery Jones Jr. By pairing the two up, the Ravens rookies will be able to push eachother to develop and they'll each have a familair face in Baltimore.
