The 2025 NFL Draft came to a close on Saturday Night and while hundreds of players didn't hear their names called their NFL journeys will soon begin. As soon as the NFL Draft comes to a close, there is a frenzy of signings as NFL teams sign undrafted free agents to build out their rosters for rookie minicamp and potentially for NFL Training camp.

Among the players not selected from the LSU football program was versatile defensive lineman Paris Shand. While Paris Shand didn't get to hear his name called he'll have a chance to prove everyone wrong as he quickly signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills are landing a versatile piece in Paris Shand

As the Buffalo Bills land LSU defensive lineman Paris Shand, they're getting a player with unique positional versatility.

The Toronto, Canada native Paris Shand, moves much closer to home as he moves from Baton Rouge to Buffalo. The signing gives Shand the chance to work his way into the NFL with one of the top teams in the NFL.

In Paris Shand, the Bills are getting a piece that their defensive coordinator will love to deploy. Shand started his career at Arizona before transferring to LSU where he'd play two seasons. Shand was a defensive end but, as LSU needed defensive tackles he made the move inside which gives him the ability to play all over the defensive front.

This season for LSU, Paris Shand recorded 24 tackles and 2 sacks while he's been a consistent pass rush threat throughout his career. While Shand won't have anything guaranteed to him, the chance to come in and compete for a spot on a Super Bowl contending roster is a great place to be and LSU fans will be rooting him on in camp.
