One of the biggest honors for College Seniors is being invited to the East West Shrine Bowl along with the Senior Bowl. The East West Shrine Bowl started in 1925 and has been a great way to get some of the best seniors in the sport together in a showcase for NFL scouts prior to the draft.

The LSU Football team has seven players who will have the honor of participating in the East West Shrine Bowl if they choose to.

Bradyn Swinson is having one of the best seasons ever by an LSU edge rusher this year. Thus far Bradyn Swinson has recorded eight sacks as he attempts to chase down Arden Key's single season sack record of 12 sacks.

Sai'vion Jones has been excellent this season rushing opposite of Bradyn Swinson racking up 4.5 sacks of his own.

LSU's talented guard tandem of Garrett Dellinger and Miles Frazier were both nominated as part of an offensive line that has only allowed four sacks on the season. Dellinger is a great candidate to play in this game as he'll miss an extended period of time after having tight rope surgery on his ankle so getting additional tape against some of the best players will only help his draft stock.

After losing Brian Thomas Jr and Malik Nabers to the NFL Draft the Tigers needed a massive season out of Kyren Lacy and thus far they've gotten it. Lacy leads the team with 618 yards and six touchdowns and when LSU has needed him the most he's delivered.

Coming off of a torn ACL, Zy Alexander has been exactly what LSU has needed in the secondary emerging as a true top cornerback. This season Alexander has only been targeted 18 times allowing just six catches and 32 yards with two interceptions on 165 coverage snaps.

Finally, the veteran man in the middle Greg Penn III received an invitation to the game. Penn ranks second on the team with 59 tackles adding 1.5 sacks and a pair of forced fumbles to his impressive totals.
