The LSU Tigers lost this weekend and while it knocks them out of the College Football Playoff conversation, they still have an outside chance at making the SEC Championship Game. This weekend, LSU's run of Night Games is broken up as they'll take on the Florida Gators in the afternoon slate as Georgia and Tennessee face off in the night cap.
When LSU faces off against Vanderbilt in two weeks, the Tigers will return to Primetime for another night game in Death Valley.
The Tigers will either face Vanderbilt at 6:30 Central Time (7:30 Eastern Time) on ESPN or at 6:45 Central Time (7:45 Eastern Time) on SEC Network.
The time slot will be decided after this weekend's games depending on how all four teams perform as the game with the higher stakes will be played on ESPN. If Texas A&M doesn't lose this weekend we'll likely see them on ESPN and the LSU Tigers on SEC Network.
When the season kicked off, no one would've expected that LSU would host Vanderbilt in a night game as the Commodores were expected to finish in the bottom of the SEC. Clark Lea has done an incredible job turning the program around this season and Vanderbilt is no longer that free win on everyone's schedules.
This may be the last chance to make a massive impact on recruits visiting
The LSU Tigers get a ton of recruits on campus for any home game but, a night game in Tiger Stadium is a different animal. The Tigers final home game of the season against Oklahoma and given the games around the country that weekend LSU won't get the night slot to end the year. The environment needs to be incredible as it always is and it may help LSU in nailing down a massive recruiting weekend two weeks before Early Signing Day.
