After falling short of returning to the Final 4, Kim Mulkey had a massive offseason of retooling the roster this offseason. The Tigers lost Aneesah Morrow to the WNBA but, returned Flau'Jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams which gave the Tigers two clear pillars to build around. The transfer portal then took starting center Sa'Myah Smith and some depth pieces which allowed Kim Mulkey to attack the transfer portal.
LSU went out and made a massive splash landing South Carolina star MiLaysia Fulwiley at Point Guard giving the team a 3rd true star. Mulkey also added pieces to the front court landing former 5-star Kate Koval after her freshman season at Notre Dame and Amiya Joyner from East Carolina. After the re-tool, LSU has another loaded roster but, most fans wanted to see the National sense of where this roster is.

On top of LSU's star studded transfer portal class, the Tigers add the Nation's top ranked recruiting class with 3 5-star recruits in Grace Knox, ZaKiyah Johnson, and Divine Bourrage along with 4-star Bella Hines, and former Georgia signee Meghan Yarnevich.
The biggest question for LSU will be how the front court pans out after replacing both starters and it's depth pieces. Kate Koval got experience at Notre Dame this season and in Kim Mulkey's system centers always excel which could help in her development. Amiya Joyner has the ability to fill up the stat sheet after nearly averaging a Double-Double at East Carolina.
MiLaysia Fulwiley is far and away the most exciting addition to the LSU Women's Basketball roster. After coming off of the bench at South Carolina, Fulwiley steps right into LSU's starting lineup and brings an exciting playmaking ability to the Point Guard position which has been an issue for LSU as of late.
