On Sunday Afternoon, the LSU Lady Tigers moved to 17-0 and 2-0 in the SEC as they beat Auburn 73-63. The game started in a fun manner as it was Dress Like Kim Mulkey Day in the PMAC as fans donned their most over the top outfits.

While everyone's outfits were incredible, Kim Mulkey somehow one upped everyone dressing like a Basketball Hoop which is up there for one of the most hilarious outfits she's worn for a game.

When the game started off, the Tigers looked out of rhythm scoring just 11 points in the first quarter. From that point on, the Tigers exploded outscoring Auburn 27-8 in the second quarter which put LSU in control for the majority of the game never allowing Auburn to get within 10 points in the fourth quarter.

LSU was able to get Auburn's DeYona Gaston into foul trouble which ended up being massive as she scored just 16 points as she was held to just 16 minutes.

Aneesah Morrow led the way for the Tigers scoring 21 points on 9 of 12 shooting while grabbing 14 rebounds recording another double double. Flau'Jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams didn't have their best shooting day but, combined for 22 points.

The difference in the game was Kailyn Gilbert who scored 17 points off of the bench making 8 of 10 shots in 17 minutes.

The Tigers are now 17-0 and 2-0 in the SEC and may move up from their 6th ranking in the AP Poll this week. Next week we'll see LSU take on possibly their toughest opponent yet as they take on the 15th ranked Tennessee Lady Volunteers who are 13-1 and 1-1 in SEC Play.
