The NFL Draft cycle is in full effect as NFL Scouts, Coaches, General Managers, and analysts have all descended upon Indianapolis to watch the Top NFL Draft prospects at the NFL Scouting Combine. This week, NFL franchises will get key insights into the top prospects on their draft boards which will help in making decisions along with several years of film.

When its all said and done, NFL Franchises only truly need one thing to latch onto with a player which could lead to him being drafted much higher than expected. When NFL Scouts are looking at LSU's Draft Prospects, they'll be sold on these selling points.

LT

Will Campbell

Left Tackle

The tape doesn't lie, Campbell is a franchise cornerstone at Tackle

In the lead up to the NFL Draft, there will be a ton of analysts that will declare Will Campbell is a guard because of his arm length. If arm length was such an issue, Campbell would've allowed more than 5 career sacks against first round defenders in the SEC. In his career, Campbell has gone up against Will Anderson, Dallas Turner, Shemar Stewart, Landon Jackson, and several other defensive ends who are first round talents and all the film has shown is that Campbell is a Top Ten pick at Left Tackle.

TE

Mason Taylor

Tight End

Taylor may be a better fit in the Pros?

It's crazy to say that LSU's All Time leading receiver as a Tight End was underutilized and may have a better pro career but, that's the case with Mason Taylor. As LSU had loaded Wide Receiver rooms, players like Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr, and Kayshon Boutte rightfully dominated target share. At the NFL level, Taylor will be utilized far more and this offseason he's shown scouts that he can win 1 on 1 matchups.

Emery Jones Jr

Raw Power and Athleticism

While Emery Jones Jr spent his LSU career playing right tackle, at the NFL level there will be debates as to whether or not he's a tackle or a guard. NFL Scouts will fall in love with the Raw Power and Athletic ability Emery Jones Jr has even though he still needs time to develop. Drafting Emery Jones Jr gives a team a shot at landing an excellent long term piece if they can develop some of the details in his game.

CB

Zy Alexander

Cornerback

Ball Production: 13 career interceptions

As long as Zy Alexander's medical evaluations go well, it's hard to see him falling any lower than the third round even in this loaded of a draft class. Alexander's production even after jumping up from Southeastern Louisiana to LSU will have NFL scouts enamored. When the ball is in the air, Alexander is able to lock on and make a play on the ball, turnovers are key for the defense and Alexander makes the most out of every opportunity.

EDGE

Bradyn Swinson

Edge Rusher

Untapped Potential despite breakout season

This season, Bradyn Swinson brokeout recording 8.5 sacks while performing the best when the lights were the brightest. The question NFL scouts will have looking back at his College Career is why Swinson didn't breakout sooner? When finally paired with a coach known for development, Swinson jumped from a two sack season to an 8.5 sack season. If you're an NFL team with a great coaching staff, you have to believe you can help Swinson reach another level as a pass rusher after seeing the late jump he made this season.

OL

Miles Frazier

Offensive Lineman

Could play Guard or Tackle at the next level

While some players had more impressive showings at the Reese's Senior Bowl, no one did more for their draft stock than Miles Frazier. At the Senior Bowl, Frazier slid out to offensive tackle where he impressed scouts putting it in their mind that he could take snaps at Tackle which puts him ahead of other guards. Frazier put film on tape at FIU playing tackle and a team could draft him first trying him at tackle before settling on guard.

DL

Sai'Vion Jones

Defensive Line

Could play multiple roles on the defensive line

As coordinators and positional coaches cycle in and out of NFL Franchises a massive resource for NFL GMs is the ability for a player to fit in multiple schemes and positions. Sai'Vion Jones is that type of player as he could move inside on pass rush downs and he can come off the edge for a team. There's still areas of his game where Jones can take a big leap but, he can instantly come into the NFL as a solid run defender.

G

Garrett Dellinger

Offensive Lineman
LSU Tigers Logo

Experience shows on tape

While Garrett Dellinger may not be the best athlete in the class at his position, his experience shows up on tape. Dellinger's experience allows him to pick up on stunts the defense throws at the offense which made him an intregal piece of LSU's offensive line. While most have the tools to play in the NFL but, need to develop instinctually, Dellinger can play early as a high IQ player.
