On Saturday, the NFL Draft will draw to a close as the third and final day of the draft kicks off, starting with the fourth round. The first two days of the draft were exciting for LSU fans as Will Campbell, Mason Taylor, Emery Jones Jr, and Sai'Vion Jones heard their names called beginning their NFL journeys. Heading into the third and final day of the NFL Draft, the LSU Tigers should have a busy day as the Tigers have eight players remaining who hope to be an NFL Draft pick.

Bradyn Swinson - Edge Rusher

One of the most shocking developments among LSU's draft eligible players is the fact that Bradyn Swinson is still on the board at the start of Day 3 of the NFL Draft. In 2024, Swinson broke out putting up an 8.5 sack season making him an exciting NFL Draft prospect. Swinson's wait should end early on Saturday as ESPN ranks him as the top available edge rusher and the 8th best player still on the board.

Miles Frazier - Offensive Line

While Miles Frazier put together a solid career at LSU, it may have been what he did in the lead-up to the NFL Draft that is most enticing to NFL teams. While Frazier was a steady force at guard for LSU, his experience at left tackle prior to LSU, paired with showcasing that talent at the Senior Bowl, gives Miles Frazier a chance to be an early 4th-round pick as a potential developmental tackle for teams. ESPN ranks Frazier as the 12th-best player available and the 2nd best offensive lineman on the board.

Zy Alexander - Cornerback

After bouncing back nicely after his torn ACL, it's a bit surprising that Zy Alexander had to wait until Day 3 of the NFL Draft to hear his name called. Alexander has the tools to be a great cornerback in a man coverage heavy scheme while he brings physicality when tasked with tackling on the perimeter. It shouldn't take long for Zy Alexander to hear his name called as he's the 5th ranked cornerback available according to ESPN.

Garrett Dellinger - Guard

Garrett Dellinger will bring experience and versatility to whichever team drafts him. He's started 30 games at the SEC, mostly at left guard, but he's also played tackle and center. Dellinger is a mauler in the rushing attack while he's solid as a pass blocker. Dellinger was the glue of LSU's offensive line and the group significantly took a step back when he was injured. ESPN ranks Dellinger as the 7th best guard available, so he'll certainly be selected in this Draft.

Josh Williams - Running Back

Heading into the offseason, Josh Williams most likely looked like an undrafted free agent in this class. While that may still be the case, an impressive showing by Josh Williams at LSU's Pro Day will give him a chance to be selected late. Williams will need an early run on running backs but, going from being a walk on to being drafted would be an incredible journey.

Paris Shand - Defensive Tackle

LSU defensive lineman Paris Shand will most likely go undrafted but, he's an intriguing player who'll give the team a ton of versatility. Shand was originally a defensive end who kicked inside for the Tigers who had a massive need at defensive tackle. Given his ability to play multiple techniques, Shand will be an interesting UDFA to follow if he doesn't hear his name called.

Greg Penn III - Linebacker

Last year, it was Omar Speights who went undrafted and carved out a nice role in the NFL at middle linebacker. This season, it could be Greg Penn III as he's trending toward being an undrafted free agent, barring a massive run on linebackers. Penn III is a great defender against the run and will transition nicely to the NFL after playing a ton of football at LSU.

Major Burns - Safety

Given the lack of an invite to the NFL Combine, Major Burns doesn't have a ton of buzz heading into Day 3 of the NFL Draft. The hope for Burns will be that a team is impressed by his Pro Day and will take a swing on him during the late rounds otherwise he'll likely be an Undrafted Free Agent.
