#1 The 2008 BCS National Championship Game

Prior to the 2008 National Championship Game, Lee Corso picked the top ranked Ohio State Buckeyes to beat the LSU Tigers to win the National Championship Game. As Ohio State led 10-0 during the first quarter, Corso probably felt vindicated but, when LSU scored the next 31 points the Tigers quickly proved Corso wrong. The Tigers offense got outgained by the Buckeyes but, the Tigers defense was incredible forcing four turnovers giving LSU and Les Miles the National Championship.
