The LSU Football program has been spoiled on the recruiting trail as of late as the Tigers have landed commitments from nearly every player they've made a top target. The Tigers hold the Nation's top ranked recruiting class and the latest addition is elite cornerback recruit Havon Finney Jr who only bolstered the group.
The LSU Football team has used its track record of developing wide receivers and used it to build this recruiting class to an elite level. The Tigers have four wide receivers on board in Tristen Keys, Jabari Mack, Kenny Darby, and Jakai Anderson, giving LSU the Nation's best group of wide receiver commitments. While LSU's recruiting class is loaded at the position, the Tigers may not be done loading up at the position.
4-star Wide Receiver Boobie Feaster sets Final Four and commitment date including LSU
On Sunday Night, 4-star wide receiver Boobie Feaster announced a final four of LSU, Alabama, USC, and Texas A&M while setting a July 4th commitment date.
LSU making the Final 4 is massive news for the Tigers as LSU has remained in the hunt for Boobie Feaster in what has been a recruitment sped up by a year as Feaster reclassified from the 2027 recruiting class. According to On3's Industry recruiting rankings, Feaster is the 43rd-ranked player in the class, the 4th-ranked wide receiver in the class, and the 6th-ranked player out of Texas.
At points in Boobie Feaster's recruitment, the LSU Football team has looked like the clear front runner to land the Desoto, Texas star. In March, On3's Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong predicted that Boobie Feaster would commit to LSU.
The outlook of LSU's recruiting class at wide receiver has significantly changed since the prediction was made. At the time, LSU held two commitments from In-State wide receivers Jakai Anderson and Kenny Darby. The week after the prediction, LSU made a massive move, landing the Nation's top-ranked wide receiver Tristen Keys. After getting Keys on-board, LSU was able to land a commitment from the top wide receiver in Louisiana, gaining a commitment from Jabari Mack.
LSU's wide receiver room has grown but, LSU likely won't stop making a significant push for Boobie Feaster. Tristen Keys has visited several top schools and it's likely a recruitment that won't be over until National Signing Day. The good news for LSU is that Boobie Feaster will visit on June 20th for the Tigers biggest official visit weekend of the year.
