The College Baseball season is right around the corner as the Tigers will look to make their push for the 8th National Championship in program history starting on February 14th. This offseason, the LSU Baseball team has gotten a ton of flowers, being ranked inside the Top 5 by nearly every major publication. The Tigers are expected to have a massive year after Jay Johnson went out and dominated on the recruiting trail and using the transfer portal.

The new additions join the likes of Steven Milam, Jared Jones, Chase Shores, Kade Anderson, and several other key pieces to form one of the best rosters in the sport. All offseason long, the players have received a ton of Preseason Accolades and the latest comes as two LSU Tigers were named to Baseball America's Preseason All American Teams.

Starting Pitcher Kade Anderson is the first to crack an All-American team being named a Preseason Second-Team All American.

As a Freshman, Kade Anderson was a breakout performer appearing in 18 games with 9 starts going 4-2 with a 3.99 ERA while striking out 59 batters in 38.1 innings pitched. The Tigers will lean on Kade Anderson heavily this season as he'll likely be a full time starter with a chance to pitch on Friday's for the Tigers.

Cracking the Preseason Third Team All-American is Starting Pitcher Chase Shores for the Tigers.

It has been a long time since we've seen Chase Shores in a game as he pitched 7 games with 4 starts as a True Freshman for the Tigers 2023 National Championship Team. Shores is coming off of Tommy John surgery and will look to return to the dominant form he showed when he posted a 1.96 ERA in 2023 while striking out 15 batters in 18.1 innings of work. Chase Shores will look to return to the starting rotation which is loaded this season and if he can bounce back, LSU will have one of the best staffs in College Baseball.
