March is upon us and this week several College Football programs kick off their Spring practices. There is a ton of excitement surrounding the LSU Football team as the Tigers signed a top ten recruiting class which was paired with a top ten transfer portal class. This Spring will see the LSU Football team look to gel all of its incoming pieces with a strong returning core headlined by Garrett Nussmeier, Whit Weeks, Caden Durham, and Harold Perkins Jr.
After a 9-4 season where the Tigers went 5-3 in the SEC, this season has the feel of a College Football Playoff or bust season as the Tigers enter year four with Brian Kelly at the helm. The College Football Playoff has expanded to 12 teams and with the amount of resources LSU has poured into this group there is no reason the Tigers shouldn't be able to go on a run to the College Football Playoff.
The LSU Tigers will kick off their 2025 season when they take the field Saturday March 8th for the first practice of the Spring. The following week, LSU will practice on Tuesday the 11th, Wednesday the 12th, Friday the 14th, and Saturday the 15th. Week Three will have practice on Tuesday (18th), Thursday (20th), and Saturday (22nd). Week Four's practices will be on Tuesday (25th), Thursday (26th), and Friday (27th). The Tigers will wrap up the Spring with practices on Monday April 7th and Thursday April 10th.
When is the LSU Football Team's 2025 Spring Game?
The LSU Football team has scheduled its Annual Spring Game for Saturday April 12th inside of Tiger Stadium. This year's Spring game may look a little different as College Football programs around the Country have canceled their Spring games out of feat that players may use it as a platform to transfer. Brian Kelly spoke on the movement and told the media that he doesn't know how LSU is going to put together the event yet.
