ESPN's College Gameday has become an institution at this point as it has become a piece of every Saturday in the fall for Football fans. Ever since it's inception in 1987, Lee Corso has been a part of the show becoming an icon in the College Football world.
The most popular part of the show is when Corso makes his selection for the featured game donning the headgear of the team he selects to win. Lee's picks have given us some incredible moments over the years and some of his fake outs of have become hilarious. Corso first made a head gear selection in 1996 and it's stuck ever since.
Earlier this season when College Gameday was in Columbia, South Carolina for LSU's matchup against South Carolina, Lee Corso picked LSU.
For this game, Kirk Herbstreit did not make a selection as he's announcing the game as he always does. Desmond Howard took LSU saying he's riding with Jayden Daniels. Nick Saban's pick was right up there with Corso's as he coached both schools to win the National Title but, he took Alabama saying its hard for him to root against his former players.
Pat McAfee picked the LSU Tigers and led the crowd in Neck followed by leading the crowd in Callin Baton Rouge. Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes obviously picked their alma mater the LSU Tigers.
Lee Corso said play my favorite song making everyone think he picked Alabama but, he pump faked the crowd and put on the Mike the Mascot headgear picking the Tigers to win.
