The injury bug continues to bite former LSU Tigers in the NFL this season. After Joe Burrow and Malik Nabers suffered significant injuries earlier this season, Will Campbell is the latest former Tiger to be bitten by the injury bug in 2025.

Campbell went down with an apparent knee injury on Sunday against the Bengals, leaving the game in the 3rd quarter. Here's what we know on Campbell's injury situation at this time.

Will Campbell suffers knee injury vs Bengals

Campbell suffered the injury near the end of the 3rd quarter with the Patriots leading the Bengals 17-13. Campbell was blocking for New England RB TreyVeyon Henderson's 4-yard run when the onjury occured. Campbell was helped to the sideline before being carted to the training room with medical personnel. He was visibly emotional and had a towel draped over his head as he headed for the training room

Patriot and Tiger fans alike are eagerly awaiting a further diagnosis of the injury. New England initially listed Campbell questionable to return with a knee injury. He didn't return to the field the rest of the game as New England won the game by a score of 26-20.

Campbell has played a big part in New England's impressive success so far this season. The Patriots have now won nine games in a row and own a record of 10-2 on the season. They currently hold the No. 1 spot in the AFC during Campbell's rookie season.

The Patriots selected Campbell with the 4th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the highest drafted offensive lineman in LSU history. The superstar lineman earned a plethora of accolades as a Tiger, including being named Freshman All-SEC in 2022, Second Team All-SEC in 2022 and 2023, and First Team All-SEC and a Consensus All-American in 2024.
