The NFL Scouting Combine can make or break an NFL Draft Prospects draft stock as a great showing can send you flying up draft boards while a bad showing can sink your draft stock. That wasn't the case for LSU Left Tackle Will Campbell as he seemed secure as a Top Ten selection based on his film alone. Given how most draft prospects choose to play it safe opting out of the combine, Campbell decided to show up and compete and he likely made himself a top ten pick because of it.
Will Campbell ran the 40 yard dash which he didn't need to do yet his 4.98 forty yard dash was the best of the group landing at a 4.98 time.
Look at that speed. @will_campbell66 is the only offensive lineman to go under 5 in the 40

Will Campbell has set out to prove that he's one of the elite franchise cornerstone offensive tackles in this draft class as General Managers and Analysts wonder if he's a guard. Between his broad jump and his forty yard dash, Campbell has done so running under 5 seconds and jumping 30+ inches at 315+ pounds. In accomplishing both feats Campbell joins Tristen Wirfs and Trent Williams as the only three to do so since 2010.
Will Campbell’s second time of 4.98 put him on a shortlist of athletic OL prospects 💪

OLs at the combine since 2010 to record a sub- 5.00 40 and 30+ inch broad jump at 315+ pounds:
• Will Campbell (2025)
• Tristan Wirfs (2020)
• Trent Williams (2010) https://t.co/NlYemiP73k pic.twitter.com/5QbdlzfbcQ
When all of his athletic metrics are considered together along with his height, weight, and position, Will Campbell is one of the best athletic prospects of all time at his position. Campbell scored a 9.88 Raw Athletic Score which ranks him 17th out of the 1379 offensive tackles that have been in the combine since 1987.
Will Campbell is a OT prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.88 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 17 out of 1379 OT from 1987 to 2025.

General Managers were looking to get a better idea of Will Campbell this weekend and he'll leave Indianapolis solidified as one of the best prospects overall in this Draft Class. Campbell has exceptional tape and his athletic grades jump off of the charts which only makes him a better prospect. As the Combine draws to an end, Will Campbell is certainly in play to go as high as the 4th overall pick but, his floor now seems locked in as a Top Ten selection.
