Zach Weeks the brother of LSU linebackers West and Whit reclassified and joins LSU
This weekend was a laid back recruiting weekend for the LSU football team as they hosted Vanderbilt. It was mostly local commitments along with targets like five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas.
In attendance was linebacker Zach Weeks the younger brother of LSU linebackers West and Whit Weeks. This morning we detailed that Zach Weeks was nearing a decision with LSU at or near the top of his list.
The visit went better than expected it seems as Zach Weeks has not only committed to LSU but, he has reclassified into the 2025 recruiting class.
According to On3's Industry recruiting rankings, Weeks is the 282nd ranked player in the Country, the 23rd ranked linebacker in the class, and the 33rd ranked player out of Georgia.
The move to reclassify will allow Zach Weeks to play alongside both of his brothers as West Weeks has maintained his redshirt after suffering an injury early on.
Weeks joins Charles Ross, Keylan Moses, and Jaiden Braker in a loaded linebacker class. The Tigers may lose Greg Penn III and Harold Perkins this offseason opening a ton of playing time for some of the younger athletes.
As things currently stand, the Tigers may be best suited long term at the linebacker position. Dahvon Keys has stepped up as of late and could join Whit Weeks and West Weeks in the starting lineup next season.
It’s incredible that LSU has now landed all three Weeks brothers and it’ll be incredible to see when LSU gets all three on the field together.
