Leading Syracuse on the road by just seven points in the third quarter, the Tigers needed a spark, which came in the form of Tre’Davious White. Fielding the ball from the 31-yard line, he split the Syracuse punt team and took it 69 yards for a touchdown, extending the LSU lead to two scores. With as many special teams struggles as LSU faced in 2015, this play was impressive.

While the punt return team had problems holding up throughout the year, they came up with a big effort here, holding off the coverage just long enough to open up the middle of the field, which allowed White’s speed to do the rest. The Tigers went on to win the game 34-24, with this play standing out as one of the game’s turning points.
