2) LSU

The LSU Tigers have been stuck on the NCAA Tournament bubble for essentially the entire season, but after a win over No. 15 Texas A&M last Saturday, they are starting to solidify a spot at the Big Dance.

LSU is tied with Kentucky for the top spot in the SEC standings, and much like the Wildcats, is hitting its stride at the perfect moment.

The Tigers are 12-5 when playing with their full roster intact. Keith Hornsby and Craig Victor did not join the team until just before conference play began, and their impact has been tremendous. Hornsby and Victor rank behind Ben Simmons as the No. 2 and No. 3 scorers on the LSU roster, respectively.

The play of Simmons will obviously be a major factor in the Tigers’ postseason aspirations, but the performance of the supporting cast will be equally important. With the emergence of freshman shooting guard Antonio Blakeney in recent weeks, this group looks as strong as it has all season.
