Crazy things happen when LSU football plays against the Gators, so predicting what might happen is always hard. But I am going to do it anyways! Check out 5 bold predictions for the game:

There are a number of crazy, different things that could happen in this game, but I always like to think bigger is better. If I had to put money on all these things happening, I would. That is how confident I am. For the big upcoming 2:30 CBS match up, here are my predictions for the LSU football team.

1. Tigers wrap it up by 3rd quarter.

This one is not as bold as some people might think. The Tigers have started out hot in every single game this season, having it ultimately wrapped up by halftime. Florida is one of the better teams they have faced, so I won’t go as far as to say that the game is over by halftime, but with the offense playing as bad as it has for the Gators, I do not think it is close.

2. Gators get gashed; Tigers rush for 200+.

The rushing game has been pretty great all season long. I really think that Joe Burrow’s ability to move around and scramble, plus the stable of running backs, plus the offensive line getting healthier, is a recipe for success. The Tigers look to run away with this in just about every way.

3. Joe Burrow completes 77% of passes or better.

The completion percentage for Burrow has improved consistently throughout the season, and on top of that he has just found a groove. If he can mix up the running and throwing throughout the game, he might just have a look every time he throws the ball. LSU can take advantage of the quick passing game, and it will be highly effective and make for some pretty good looking stats for Burrow.

4. Gators held to 10 points or less.

The Gators offense has been pretty stagnant, particular against quality opponents. With only one touchdown against the Mississippi State Bulldogs last week, it might be more of the same this week. With LSU looking like DBU again and the front 7 playing fast and physical like they have all season, it should hold the Gators to no more than one touchdown again this season.

5. Tigers score 28 points or more.

The offense has played as well as it has in years. With the run game humming and the passing game playing at an incredible level, this game might have a lot of points… for the Tigers. If the game goes the way it looks like it is, it will be “A Great Day to Be a Tiger!”.
