9. Dan Mullen — Florida

Dan Mullen comes across to me as an odd guy. But because of his strangeness, he provides a mild amount of entertainment. Nearly every time I watch a Mullen interview or press conference, I cringe at some point. It’s not a good feeling, but it provides entertainment I guess?

8. Derek Mason — Vanderbilt

I like Derek Mason a lot. I think he’s done a decent job in an impossible situation (following James Franklin at Vanderbilt is not ideal). What I like about Mason the most is his intensity. When the Commodores upset Missouri in 2019, Mason was FIRED UP.

I’d say that’s entertaining.

7. Kirby Smart — Georgia

I find Kirby Smart to be incredibly entertaining — mostly because he reminds me of a toddler throwing a fit when he doesn’t get his way. It feels like every time I watch a Georgia game there’s a shot of Kirby on the sidelines grasping his headset and screaming at no one in particular. I can’t imagine what his blood pressure is during a game.

6. Jeremy Pruitt — Tennessee

There’s nothing all that remarkable about Jeremy Pruitt. He never gets too high or too low in his press conferences. He’ll get a bit excited during games, but nothing out of the ordinary. So why is he this high on the list? Well it’s for one specific reason. He had one of the quotes of the year — and it had nothing to do with football.

The SEC — it just means more.

5. Sam Pittman — Arkansas

Sam Pittman, much like Dan Mullen, is also quite cringeworthy. But for some reason, I get more entertainment value out of Pittman — even if I’m still weirded out a bit.

That’s just awkward. And uncomfortable. But for some reason I can’t stop watching it.
