Myles Brennan — Quarterback

If a team is going to be great, there has to be a great quarterback under center.

Especially in today’s age of high octane offenses.

LSU can be a good team in 2020 even if Myles Brennan isn’t a star.

But for the Tigers to have a chance to repeat as national champions, Brennan has to be great.

Does Brennan have to be Joe Burrow in 2020?

No, of course not (that would be completely unreasonable to suggest).

But this is Brennan’s team now. He has to be the heart and soul of LSU in 2020. He has to be an elite leader (in that sense, he needs to be like Burrow).

Coach O is expecting big things from Brennan next season. He recently suggested that the redshirt junior quarterback could “explode” in 2020. If that’s the case, the Tigers could have another special season on their hands.
