Baylor
Let’s go ahead and start with a familiar face.
Dave Aranda left LSU after helping the Tigers win the national championship to become the head coach at Baylor. No one can blame Aranda for leaving — especially for a Power-5 head coaching gig.
But wouldn’t it be fun to watch new LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini go up against his predecessor ?
Obviously this is a game that would be tilted in LSU’s favor. But it would still be a fun matchup.
Baylor and LSU have actually played each other 11 times (The Tigers hold an 8-3 series lead), but the two programs haven’t met on the field since 1985 in the Liberty Bowl.
I wonder if Ed Orgeron would take it easy on his old assistant?
Yeah, probably not happening.
