5. LSU football won it all in 2019 when no one saw it coming

Look, there’s no better reason to trust Coach O than the fact that he has a national championship on his resume.

No one expected LSU to go 15-0 and completely dominate the sport in 2019. But they did and it was mostly because of Orgeron.

Coach O is the one who made sure the Tigers landed a grad transfer quarterback in Joe Burrow. Orgeron is the one responsible for bringing Joe Brady to Baton Rouge and revolutionizing LSU’s offense.

The Tigers don’t dominate last season without Burrow, Brady, and others. But it was Orgeron —  the CEO of LSU football — that put the right pieces in place for LSU to have success in 2019.

Orgeron is going to continue to make those wise decisions. He’s going to continue putting the right pieces in place for the Tigers.

Being a successful head coach in college football is one of the toughest jobs in sports. Not many find championship-level success. Even fewer can do it more than once.

Next. Joe Burrow isn't being appreciated enough. dark

LSU has a coach that’s a proven winner. There’s no reason to lose faith now.
