Would LSU football be in a college football ‘Super League’?

These programs deserve a spot, based on their history
- USC Trojans
- Miami Hurricanes
- Auburn Tigers
- Tennessee Volunteers
- Michigan Wolverines
- Texas Longhorns
- Nebraska Cornhuskers
These programs aren’t routinely competing for national championships. Some of them, in fact, aren’t even competing for conference championships (looking at you Tennessee and Nebraska).
But each of these programs has storied traditions, great fan bases, and great stadiums. It wouldn’t feel right to have a College Football Super League without these historic programs.
I can definitely understand why some folks would complain about Tennessee and Nebraska being in here. Neither program has been relevant for a long time. But those fan bases are incredibly fun. And every program needs a cellar-dweller or two, right?
Might as well be Tennessee and Nebraska. It’s a position they’re both very familiar with.
