Mark Stoops — Kentucky head coach

Mark Stoops isn’t a huge name, but he should be. What he’s accomplishing at Kentucky is remarkable.

I mean, Stoops led the Wildcats to a 10 win season in 2018. He’s off to a 5-0 start this season. He has a winning record at UK since taking over in 2013 (54-50, currently).

That’s unheard of at Kentucky.

Stoops will have a few programs interested in hiring him. The Florida State job could also be open. And that’s a job that could interest Stoops.

Stoops was the defensive coordinator at Florida State for three years before taking the job at Kentucky.

The LSU job is definitely better than the Florida State job. But which would Stoops prefer?
