LSU football fans eager to represent their favorite players ahead of the 2023 season are in luck. Today, another Tigers star player announced his new website, logo, and apparel line.

LSU football linebacker Harold Perkins is the latest prominent college athlete to take advantage of NIL opportunities. The 2nd year Tigers defender took to social media, announcing his official website, officialharoldperkins.com. Of course, the site is illuminated in purple and gold and headlined by Perkins’ new “HP” interlocking logo. In addition, the site offers a newsletter, a link to contact the LSU football star’s representatives and a store.

Perkins’ web store features his apparel collection, including hats, shirts, sweatshirts, pants, and shorts featuring his logo. Other options include shirts and sweatshirts with the trademarked phrase ‘Perk Nation.’ However, the most attractive line of merch is the collage-style tees NFL players are frequently repping during pregame warmups. Perkins’ apparel ranges from $30 to $60 and is available in adult and youth sizes.

the LSU linebacker emerged as one of college football’s most electrifying players

No LSU football player turned heads like Harold Perkins last season. The crown jewel of Brian Kelly’s 2022 recruiting class provided the Tigers with an immediate impact on defense. The Cypress, TX native played in all 14 games last season, accumulating 72 total tackles and 7.5 sacks. But, of course, few Perkins’ performances stood out more than his day in Fayetteville back in November. Perkins overcame the flu to force two fumbles and snag four sacks on the way to LSU’s 13-10 win. Suffice it to say, the LSU linebacker emerged as one of college football’s most electrifying players. Thus, it makes sense for Perkins to begin his sophomore season with LSU football by establishing his brand.

NCAA rule changes in 2021 opened the door for college athletes to profit from their name, image, and likeness. Since such time, many star players partnered with marketing reps to establish and build upon a personal brand. Perkins is the latest in a growing pool of star players to debut trademarked logos, phrases, and merchandise. LSU football fans will enjoy a front seat as Perkins builds his marketing potential with another monster season.
