After one season of the Brian Kelly experiment, LSU Football is a top five team. The Tigers have high hopes in 2023, but there are concerns to discuss.

LSU Football will open the season as the No. 5 team in the nation. With that ranking comes very high expectations for the boys in the boot.

Brian Kelly seems to have his team primed for an exciting 2023 season. After beating Alabama, winning the SEC West and playing in the SEC Championship game in 2022, the Tigers are going to have to prove to the nation that their season wasn’t a fluke.

Jayden Daniels is back, the Tigers had one of the top transfer portal classes in the nation, and almost the entire coaching staff remains intact. Many fans are expecting LSU Football to compete for a national championship in 2023, but there are still some areas of concern I feel the need to confront.

Yes, the team is coming off their first 10-win season since 2019. However, even the 2019 LSU Football squad had vulnerabilities to start their championship season.

If the 2023 Tigers are ready to compete for a title, they’re going to have to overcome a lot of obstacles and concerns.

What concerns!?

I’m glad you asked, here’s the top 5 areas of the LSU Football team that worry me today.
