This week, Netflix and the SEC made headlines when it was announced that they filmed SEC programs this season with access to players, coaches, and key matchups.
The LSU Football program is one of the programs that participated which is exciting as well get inside looks at the program. While we won't know what's in the documentary until the Summer, here are three moments we hope are featured in Netflix's show.
South Carolina fans rushing down to storm the field before losing
In the third week of the season, LSU went on the road to South Carolina and Columbia was buzzing as College Gameday chose the game that week. With just a few minutes left in the game, it looked like the Gamecocks had the game in the bag. The students started to make their way down from the student section preparing to rush the field with a win over at the time #16 LSU. Then Josh Williams scored with 1:12 left in the game and South Carolina missed a long field goal attempt to win the game. The students that rushed down to rush the field never got to rush the field.
Kyren Lacy's Celebration after his overtime winner against Ole Miss
The Tigers hosted the Ole Miss Rebels for the 100th Birthday of Tiger Stadium and the game gave the stadium quite the celebration. LSU stormed back late and won the game in overtime on a connection between Garrett Nussmeier and Kyren Lacy. The play sent the stadium into a frenzy as fans made their way onto the field and at the center of it all was Kyren Lacy. Given Lacy's journey to LSU and how he talks about LSU it was incredible to see Lacy have his moment after being behind Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr last year.
Garrett Nussmeier's injury and return against Oklahoma
When Garrett Nussmeier was injured against Oklahoma it instantly raised questions and set off red flags as Nussmeier went from the field to the tent then into the locker room without his pads. When Nussmeier emerged fully suited to play everyone was a bit shocked based on how the injury looked. The Nussmeier came out and played the best football we've ever seen him play completing 22 of 31 passes for 317 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Given the way Nussmeier came out and played based on how the injury looked, we all need more insight into what happened, what they gave Nussmeier, and how it can be attained as he looked like he took the limitless pill.
