5 Biggest Winners and Losers of Week 13: Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M all crash
Winner: Michigan Wolverines
What a week it was for the Michigan Wolverines as they picked up a ton of momentum for the future. The week started with the Wolverines finally pulling off the flip they've been pushing for landing Bryce Underwood flexing their NIL muscles. The Wolverines then got the job done on the field as they demolished Northwestern 50-6. We'll see how many flips Michigan is able to pull off down the stretch here but, Michigan is putting the resources into turning things back around.
Loser: Alabama Crimson Tide
Everyone in the Country was in agreement that the Alabama Crimson Tide got too much credit in this weeks College Football Playoff rankings. The Tide came out on Saturday and proved everybody right losing to a 5-5 Oklahoma team. The Tide couldn't do anything on offense as Jalen Milroe threw three picks and rushed for just 7 yards on the game.
Alabama will now need to hope that they're in striking distance when the College Football Playoff committee updates its rankings on Monday Night. In Year One of the Kalen DeBoer era, this team appears to show up for the biggest games while they sleepwalk through the easier games. Next weekend, the Tide face an Auburn team that has a ton of momentum in what could decide Alabama's Playoff Fate.
