This weekend, LSU plays its final regular season game of the season against the Oklahoma Sooners back in Baton Rouge. Given that the Early National Signing Period begins on Wednesday, this is a massive recruiting weekend as teams make their final pushes for recruits before the dead period on Monday. This weekend LSU will get most of its recruiting class back on campus as the Tigers look to lock down several recruitments.
One notable recruit won't be on campus this weekend as linebacker commit Keylan Moses will be in College Station visiting Texas A&M as the Aggies host the Texas Longhorns.
The Tigers especially LSU fans since coaches have changed are likely having some flashbacks. The Tigers heavily pushed for Keylan's older brother Dylan offering him a scholarship at 14 years old and held a commitment from Dylan for two years before he decommitted and ended up signing with LSU.
Its hard to truly tell how great of a shot Texas A&M has at flipping Keylan Moses this late in the cycle. His younger brother Emmanuel does hold an offer from Texas A&M and has visited which could mean this is more of a visit for him. On the other hand, Keylan Moses has been in College Station three times which could be a cause for concern.
The real reason for concern is the fact that LSU holds commitments from four linebackers including Moses which makes it easier for other schools to point to the room being crowded. On the other hand, LSU has commitments from Charles Ross, Jaiden Braker, and Zach Weeks all of which are ranked higher than Moses which means the class will be fine either way.
The LSU Football program has built a great pipeline of linebackers since Blake Baker's arrival on campus and it should be a loaded group for LSU going forward.
