Tennessee Volunteers:

Addition: Wendell Moe - Offensive Line - Arizona

The biggest obstacle Tennessee faces heading into the 2025 season is replacing four out of five starters on the offensive line. The Volunteers landed one versatile plug and play piece in Arizona's Wendell Moe who can fill one of the voids at guard. Moe is a great addition as a former All Pac-12 selection.

Loss: Squirrel White - Wide Receiver - Florida State

While this season ended in disappointment, Tennessee fans can assure themselves that Nico Iamaleava gained experience and built chemistry with his receivers. Part of that sentiment is why losing wide receiver Squirrel White is an underrated loss. This season, White finished third on the team with 381 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Texas Longhorns:

Addition: Brad Spence - Edge Rusher - Arkansas

While the expectation this season was that Texas' offense would carry the load this season it actually was the defense that got the job done. As Texas may lose key pieces in the trenches like Barryn Sorrell and Trey Moore to the draft, Texas adds a massive piece in Brad Spence. This season for Arkansas, Spence racked up 55 tackles and 4.5 sacks bringing instant starter ability to a loaded group up front.

Loss: Sydir Mitchell - Defensive Tackle - LSU

Part of the reason Texas has been so good defensively this season has been because of their ability to rotate top end defensive tackle. Texas will most likely lose four key pieces from that rotation who are out of eligibility which is a cause for concern. The Longhorns lost a piece with experience to LSU in defensive tackle Sydir Mitchell who could've easily slid into the lineup next season and could've given Texas a ton of production.

Texas A&M Aggies:

Addition: Micah Hudson - Wide Receiver - Texas A&M

Last season, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech along with most of the schools in the Country were all pushing for Five-Star Wide Receiver Micah Hudson before he landed at Texas Tech. Now after a year dealing with injuries at Texas Tech, Micah Hudson transfers In-State to Texas A&M. Hudson gives A&M a high-upside wide receiver to play alongside fellow freshman quarterback Marcel Reed as the Aggies will look to improve in year two under Mike Elko. The Aggies also landed wide receiver KC Concepcion which is a massive addition but, getting a receiver on the same timeline as Marcel Reed is a massive addition.

Loss: Noah Thomas - Wide Receiver

While Texas A&M has done an incredible job landing wide receivers to help out Marcel Reed it hasn't been fully positive at the position. The Aggies lost Wide Receiver Noah Thomas to the transfer portal after he led the team in receiving with 39 catches for 574 yards and 8 touchdowns. While the additions are solid for the Aggies you'd like to keep the leading receiver on board.

Vanderbilt Commodores:

Addition: Keanu Koht - Edge Rusher - Alabama

After a rock solid year on the field, the Vanerbilt Commodores are seeing the success off the field in the transfer portal. The Commodores have added some high upside pieces from other SEC schools which will only help as they look to build on a great year. The highest upside piece is edge rusher Keanu Koht from Alabama who can be a massive piece coming off of the edge if he can stay healthy.

Loss: Gunnar Hansen - Left Tackle - Florida State

The last thing any school wants to deal with is losing starters to the transfer portal let alone offensive linemen that started. Losing a three year starter at left tackle in Gunnar Hansen is a massive loss for Vanderbilt as they look to have a magical season once again in 2025. The Commodores now need to replace a tackle who went up against teams like Alabama and held talented pass rushers without sacks.
