Brian Kelly hints at key players returning and his team's performance in the postgame press conference
The LSU Football team turned in a complete game on Saturday Night picking up a win over Oklahoma to end the regular season 8-4. This game was filled with big plays by each phase of the game making it tough to beat LSU with the way they played. After the game Brian Kelly spoke on his teams performance and the morale was high as there wasn't anything to be upset about.
Brian Kelly spoke on the direction of the team as the regular season comes to an end and he feels that LSU is building towards something.
"We’re taking receipts, and we’ll see you at the national championship. This team is building."

All season long LSU has gotten massive contributions out of True Freshmen from PJ Woodland to Caden Durham and Trey'Dez Green. On Saturday Night, it was defensive tackle Dominick McKinley who recorded two sacks for the Tigers.

As the Tigers continue to get massive performances from the younger players its hard not to get excited about the 2025 team. After the game, Brian Kelly hinted that LSU will get some massive returnees back as well. We'll have to wait and see if its a Will Campbell, Harold Perkins, Emery Jones, Mason Taylor, or someone else but, that is massive news for LSU.

All season long Aaron Anderson has been a massive contributor after starting the year as a rotational piece. Anderson may have made his best play yet on Saturday Night returning a kickoff 100 yards for a score when it was uncertain if Garrett Nussmeier would return or not. Brian Kelly spoke on the breakout star and what his future looks like.

The biggest story of the night was the injury and return of Garrett Nussmeier who was dominant in the second half of this game leading LSU to a win. Kelly spoke on his quarterback and what he saw from Nussmeier.
"Grit and toughness. We want him to resemble the championship traits a team should have. That is an easy tap out for most people but that’s the kind of competitor he is."
