Brian Kelly shares his thoughts on LSU's Recruiting Class and who can play early
The LSU Football team has finally gotten pen to paper with its loaded recruiting class meaning Brian Kelly can finally comment on the class of recruits that LSU signed. In the last months Kelly wasn't able to speak on the specific players per NCAA rules but, now he discuss the class. Kelly spoke on every player LSU signed and what their impact can be but, we'll feature the ones he spoke on the most glowingly.
Brian Kelly spoke on five-star in-state running back Harlem Berry who Kelly said can impact the roster from Day One as he joins Caden Durham and JT Lindsey in the backfield.
"Elite player. Can do many things for you. He can impact the game as a guy coming out of the backfield catching the football, running the football, special teams. He can impact the roster right away."

Carius Curne is a physical mauler that LSU signed out of Arkansas and with the offensive line turnover he'll have a chance to start next season. Curne is listed on recruiting services as a guard, we now know LSU plans to play him at tackle.
"One of the stronger offensive tackles I have recruited in some time. He absolutely dominates his opponents. He is physically ready to play in the SEC right now."

DJ Pickett was the Nation's top rated defensive back and holding onto his commitment was massive for LSU and he's a player we'll certainly see from Day One.
"We believe he is hands down the best corner in the country. Incredible length at 6-4, 180 pounds. I don't know if I have ever felt there's a lockdown corner, but he is as close as it gets. And, his film on offense might be even better. He's just an elite player."

One of the best stories for LSU was landing Zach Weeks the younger brother of Whit and West Weeks which Kelly commented on today.
"He's the third brother in the program. The only way to get that is recruit them individually. Zach is an incredible athlete. I kid the other two that he's the best of the three. Great versatility and extremely gifted athlete."

Among the other players listed as physically ready to play were Brett Bordelon and Zion Williams while Phillip Wright was named as someone with the skills to play early.
